Fear ME!! Energy Denial Warrior? [non-mesmer]
Someone mentioned in an earlier post about a build known as the "Fear Me!" build.
Fear Me: cost - 4a. All adjacent enemies lose X energy. This skill uses adrenaline.
With my 9+1 tactics, that's 3 energy per shout. I was wondering...
Would it be feasible to make a Warrior without mesmer skills [if you're half mesmer, wtf would u use this skill?].
I was thinking along the lines of Flurry, For Great Justice. That means every 2 swings you Shout in the name of FEAR and then energy starts dropping. Could this style of build work?

Actually fear me is probably better energy denial than anything mesmers have because the radius is so large and yes it will bring down enemy caster mana very fast.
Of course the condition is, it's an adrenal skill and you have to hit them to gain adrenaline. With the amount of anti-warrior biasis lately you are not going to be hitting the enemy enough to make this worthwhile in most cases.

"rigor mortis"+ blanket hex.... havent tried it but i think it should work. then whack em as much as you want. of course, thats a necro skill, so the fear me must be coordinated, but really its just a quick "put rigor mortis on that guy for me" and your away...

Condition removal is the most spammable removal on the game. It shouldnt be a problem. If i remember, although im covering a lot of skills with this statement, blind is hard to run constantly without dedication. And youll run out of energy before the condition remover, almost for sure.

What about a W/N using Malaise and "Fear Me!" in conjunction? Actually I think a N/W would be better for the energy regen for yourself. Get 12 blood and a balance between swordsman and tactics, and put the rest in curses. Use the combo Life Siphon + Malaise for a net +1 health regen for you and a -3 health -2 mana degen on them. Use Hamstring on runners, build up adrenal, then hit them with Sever Artery and "Fear Me!" for even more health/mana drain.

W/N. Reason being is the armor...
And watching a necro yell fear me is just funny... ^_^
But now that you mention it, yeah, a group of 3 or so warriors with good tactics could yell all day and leave their target with, no energy...
Rigor Mortis + Plague Touch. Nobody has ever left my warrior blind for more than 2 s. evar. Unless they drain my energy to nothing, then yeah...
Don't worry too much about conditions slowing down this warrior. any W/N would always bring Plague Touch to a pvp war all the time every time.
Malaise + Fear me does mean empty energy for any W/M guarunteed. It would also reduce the regen energy pips on any caster to that of a warrior so yelling fear me every 2 swings would definitely put a cramp in their ability to cast anything...
Hmm, I LIKE what I'm hearing thus far....

If you really want a fear me user and you really think you will be able to hit your attacks you need echo.
The whole point of fear me is that it is aoe energy denial, and crazy strong at that if you can get the necessary adrenaline. If you want single target energy denial go with Ranger/Mesmer.

Disrupting Chop, Cyclone Axe, Echo*, "Fear Me", "To the Limit", Signet of Humility, Rush, "For Great Justice"
This is mainly a disruption character. He can pump out 10 Fear Me in 20 seconds, which is equal to causing 6 negative pips of energy regeneration in a large area around him.

...I really think the mesmer skill echo is absolutely necessary in this.
